You can now search for our Victory site on Google.com. The site however, is not a high-point on the list. In order for it to be on top of the directory it has to gain popularity. Popularity is based on how many times the site has been used as a link. So to all blog writers, don’t forget to link up Victory as many times as you can!

xanga xanga xanga,
I haven’t updated you in a looooong time.

Hearsay... I graduated last April and I’ve decided I’m not going to march this June 8. I’m not just feelin' it. It's fine with my parents--they gave the whole idea of not marching anyways. and the whole ceremony in UA&P (I heard from my batch mates) is dreary...

People always tell me its 'sayang'--or 'a missed opportunity' that i dont go... unless someone can pursuade me otherwise (and i am welcome to pursuasion), i still have time to change my mind.

As of now... Go bye UA&P!

"no never again! no-oh!"

It is so hot here in the Manila. It’s never been this hot before. Weather is around 37C/99F. My house is like an oven. And it’s hella humid too. As david sta. maria would say: "ang enet! ang yumed pa!" We’re surviving on air-conditioning. Those who can’t afford it get sick. My commiseration to them.

Good news is I'll be working full time soon where the air-conditioning is rather strong. Over here:

Yeah!

I finally found "Only Want To Be With You" by Rozwell. I miss this song. Its cheesy, but simple. It's the hardest song to find. He has no websites, no fans, no identity as an r&b singer... No one knows who Rozwell is. Not even yahoo, not even google... kainis.

Maybe we'll live and learn. Maybe we'll crash and burn.
Maybe you'll stay, maybe you'll leave, maybe you'll return.
Maybe another fight. Maybe we won't survive.
But maybe we'll grow. We never know you and I.
We're just ordinary people; we don't know which way to go.

Last March 20th to 29th i went on a short-term missions trip to Cambodia & Laos. We had to stop by Ho Chi Minh City for the reason that there are no direct flights from Manila to these countries.

Here is a brief summary of what happened:

In Vietnam, we were able to link up with our spiritual family for a time of fellowship and encouragement. For security reasons the disciples do not meet methodically as a church, but amazingly they are growing and multiplying in leaps and bounds. Many of them would even memorize chapters of an evangelical booklet called “One to One” in order that they may safely share the gospel.

In Cambodia, we were able to acquaint ourselves with a few students at the University of Phnom Penh. They have an immense openness to the gospel. In the midst of Buddhism and Hinduism in a monarchial society, there is still a loud cry for purpose and destiny among the students. Indeed, workers are needed in this open nation.

In Laos, we were able to visit our friends, a Filipino couple from Victory Galleria. They moved to Vientiane last February. It was very heartening to see that they have already made friends with highly influential people. These were entrepreneurs, businessmen, English teachers, and university professors. At the same time, we were able to connect with Lina, an 18-year old college student and a grand daughter of a prominent public official. Saved from our Every Nation Church in Singapore, this radical lady openly asserts Christ to her Buddhist friends.
